He was born on July 22, 1918 @ Schwaigern, as the 3rd of 4 children of Count Anton Ernst of Neipperg & Countess Anna of Silva-Tarouca. He became the heir apparent after the death of his older brother, Hereditary Count Karl Reinhard of Neipperg after he was killed in action in Russia in July 1941. He succeeded his father as Count on Dec. 28, 1947.  He was married twice. He was first married to Countess Maria of Ledebur-Wicheln (1920-1984) @ Munich, Germany, on Feb. 3, 1951. They had 8 children: Her.Ct.Karl Eugen of Neipperg (b. Oct.20, 1951) (m. Archdss Andrea of Austria); Ct.Reinhard of Neipperg; Ctss Maria Anna of Neipperg (a nun known as Sister Marianna); Ctss Franziska of Neipperg; Ct.Stephan of Neipperg; Ct.Christoph of Neipperg; Ctss Barbara of Neipperg; & Ct.Johannes of Neipperg. Two years after his 1st wife died, he married Pss Therese of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfurst (b.1938). He is survived by his widow, children, grandchildren [including: Ct.Philipp of Neipperg; Ct.Benedikt of Neipperg; Ct.Dominik of Neipperg; Ctss Hemma of Neipperg; & Ctss Katharina of Neipperg] & great-grandchildren.
