Events Calendar update / Danish Royal Family welcomes new baby girl
I have added an 'Events Calendar' for 2012, which can be found on the left-hand side of the blog. I've tried my best to list as much inclusive + accurate information as I can. I will remove events after they've taken place. Please reference it to keep up on your favorite royals, and let me know if you have any additions or corrections!
{P.S. If you're looking for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, engagements, christenings, accessions, or coronations/enthronements - look through the tabs at the top.}
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On an almost unrelated note, congratulations are in order to Prince Joachim & Princess Marie of Denmark, who welcomed a baby girl today, January 24, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The as yet unnamed baby girl joins her brother Prince Henrik (b.2009), and half-brothers Prince Felix (b.2002) & Prince Nikolai (b.1999) at home.
Prince Joachim is the younger son of Queen Margrethe II & Prince Consort Henrik of Denmark, the new baby is their 8th grandchild, and 3rd granddaughter. She will have the style & titles of HH Princess of Denmark, Countess of Monpezat. We the public will find out her names when she is christened, most likely in 3-4 months from now. I wish her & her family health + happiness on this joyous occasion!
My Blog Anniversary..... one day late
Hello everyone [anyone?] out there in royal blog land! I hope everyone is having a happy & healthy 2012 so far!
Yesterday, January 20th, marked the first year anniversary of this blog! As you can probably tell, I've finally finished tweaking things, hopefully for the better.
I have added gadgets to the right which allow you to subscribe to this blog, or share it. I've also made sure to have latest posts, a [short] list of post labels, the archive list, my blog list {please visit these wonderful blogs!}, and popular posts. On the left-hand side, I've set up an Events Calendar, which I am trying to update frequently.
I'm writing this post mostly to ask any readers/visitors out there what you think? Is there anything you think I should add to or remove from this blog? Is the information I provide helpful? Hopefully it's accurate - I do try! What does everyone think of the different pages [tabbed above]? Please feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions in the comments - I'd love to hear from you!]
{ even if I never hear from anyone, I really enjoy updating my blog every day, it gives me a teensy bit of pride.... I myself enjoy reading it, I guess sometimes that's all that matters :-) }
