Here in the Northern hemisphere, it's our last 'official' last month of Summer, so we try to cram in as much as possible... Which means lots of county fairs, the state fair, antique shows, garage/yard sales, bbqs, & camping.  We try to visit local waterparks & zoos, take lots of walks, get lots of ice cream, enjoy sweet corn-on-the-cob, visit lakeside camps that some of us own, and get together with neighbors for backyard bonfires to roast smores.  We also enjoy many family reunions, class reunions, golfing, and vacationing!  In some other parts of the USA (and the world), many children are returning to school  - - but in my area this doesn't take place until early September.
