Princess Anne's second marriage in 92 maybe was one of the free good highlights for the Queen in the year she called her worst year ever in Latin - cannot recall how it's spelled - horiblis something. Windsor castle burned and all the mess with Prince Phillip and Diana burst wide open that same yr.
ReplyDelete"Annus horribilis" indeed. I like looking at Princess Anne's 1992 wedding photos, I agree it was probably one of the few bright spots for the Windsors that year. I also think it was a perfect example of a "2nd wedding".
