He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Ebba Rysst Heilmann. He had struggled with his mental health & alchoholism, and was an author + artist. He was born Ari Mikael Bjorshol (he changed his surname from Bjorshol to Behn in 1996) @ Aarhus, Denmark, on Sep. 30, 1972 as the eldest son of Olav Bjorshol & Marianne Solberg (who later took the surname Behn). He had 2 younger siblings. After having lived in England (UK) & Lavangen (Norway), the family settled in Moss, Norway, when Ari was 6 years old. He attended the Waldorf School (Steinerskolen) @ Moss & later took a bachelor’s degree in history + religion from the University of Oslo. He made his breakthrough as an author in 1999 with his collection of short stories called ‘Trist som faen’ (Sad as hell), which sold over 100,000 copies. He later wrote 4 novels & published 2 more collections of short stories, and a play. In his later years he achieved great success with his art. He married Pss Martha Louise of Norway (elder child of K.Harald V & Q.Sonja of Norway) in 2002 @ Trondheim, Norway. They had 3 children: Maud Angelica Behn (2003), Leah Isadora Behn (2005) & Emma Tallulah Behn (2008). In August 2016 their separation was made publis & they were divorced in 2017.

Dec.25 Norway: Death of Ari Behn, by suicide @ his home in Lommedalen, Baerum. He was the ex-husband of Pss Martha Louise of Norway, and the father of Maud Behn, Leah Behn & Emma Behn. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Ebba Rysst Heilmann. He had struggled with his mental health & alchoholism, and was an author + artist. He was born Ari Mikael Bjorshol (he changed his surname from Bjorshol to Behn in 1996) @ Aarhus, Denmark, on Sep. 30, 1972 as the eldest son of Olav Bjorshol & Marianne Solberg (who later took the surname Behn). He had 2 younger siblings. After having lived in England (UK) & Lavangen (Norway), the family settled in Moss, Norway, when Ari was 6 years old. He attended the Waldorf School (Steinerskolen) @ Moss & later took a bachelor’s degree in history + religion from the University of Oslo. He made his breakthrough as an author in 1999 with his collection of short stories called ‘Trist som faen’ (Sad as hell), which sold over 100,000 copies. He later wrote 4 novels & published 2 more collections of short stories, and a play. In his later years he achieved great success with his art. He married Pss Martha Louise of Norway (elder child of K.Harald V & Q.Sonja of Norway) in 2002 @ Trondheim, Norway. They had 3 children: Maud Angelica Behn (2003), Leah Isadora Behn (2005) & Emma Tallulah Behn (2008). In August 2016 their separation was made publis & they were divorced in 2017.
