Her maternal grandparents were Prince Alexander of Thurn + Taxis, Duke of Castel Duino (1881-1937) & Princess Marie de Ligne (1885-1971). She was a niece of Empress Zita of Austria-Hungary, Princess of Bourbon-Parma, and of Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma, Prince of Luxembourg. She was a 1st cousin of Queen Anne of Romania, Princess of Bourbon-Parma. In 1955 she married Prince Franz Joseph of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (1926-1996), civilly on Mar. 15, 1955 @ London, England, UK, & religiously on Apr. 16, 1955 @ Krauchenwies, Germany. He was the son of Prince Friedrich of Hohenzollern (1891-1965) & Princess Margarete of Saxony (1900-1962). His 1st wife was Princess Maria Fernanda of Thurn + Taxis (wed on July 15, 1950; divorced on Oct. 30, 1951; annulled on Dec. 7, 1954). Pss Diane of Bourbon-Parma & Prince Franz Joseph of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen had a son, Pr.Alexander of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen on June 2, 1957 (he was adopted by his mother’s 2nd husband, who was his biological father). They divorced on Jan.19, 1961, and the marriage was annulled on May 11, 1992. On Mar. 21, 1961 she civilly married Hans Joachim Oehmichen (b. Apr.4, 1920 @ Barnitz, Kreis Meissen, Germany, d. July 11, 1995 @ Bad Krozingen). They married religiously on June 6, 1992. They had 2 children together: Gaetano Oehmichen (b. May 1, 1961 @ Naples, Italy) & Maria Oehmichen (b. June 2, 1964 @ Freiburg, Breisgau). She is survived by her 3 children (Dr.Alexander Oehmichen & his wife Anja Mandelkow Oehmichen; Gaetano Oehmichen & his wife Julika Oehmichen, & Maria Oehmichen); along with 2 grandsons (Philip & Robert).

She married Rishi Roop Singh in 2017, and they had 1 son together, Maxim Singh. She was a paternal granddaughter of Prince Dimitri Vladimirovich Galitzine (1914-1976) & Tatiana Petrovna Lopoukhine (1916-1982). Her maternal grandparents were Archduke Rudolph of Austria (1919-2010) & Countess Xenia Tschernyschev-Besobrasow (1929-1968). She was a great-granddaughter of the Blessed Emperor Karl I of Austria + Hungary & Empress Zita of Austria-Hungary, Princess of Bourbon-Parma, and was a descendant of the Habsburg dynasty. Besides her husband, son, & parents, she is also survived by her 3 sisters [Pss Xenia Galitzine (b. 1983), Pss Tatiana Galitzine (b.1984) & Pss Alexandra Galitzine (b.1986)] & her 2 brothers [Pr.Dmitri Galitzine (b.1990) & Pr.Ioann Teimouraz Galitzine (b.1992)]

May 9 Iraq/Jordan: Death of Princess Badiya bint Ali of Iraq on May 9, 2020, aged 100. She was the last surviving Iraqi Princess of the Iraqi reigning monarchy born before the coup & the maternal aunt of the last King Faisal II of Iraq. She was also the niece of the late King Abdullah I of Jordan. She is survived by her 1st cousin, Pr.Ra’ad bin Zeid of Iraq. She is also survived by her 1st cousin twice removed, K.Abdullah II of Jordan.
