June 26 Brazil: Princess Theresa/Teresa/Tereza of Orleans-Braganza died on June 26, 2020, at the age of 91 years old @ Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was born on Jan. 11, 1950 as Teresa/Tereza de Jesus Cesar Leite @ Uba, Minas Gerais, as the daughter of Jose de Silva Leite & Branca Queiroz Cesar dos Santos. She married Carlos Eduardo “Didu” de Sousa Campos in the 1950s as his 2nd wife. They had 1 child, a son: Diduzinho. They separated in the 1970s (he died on Jan. 28, 1986 in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 72). She was the widow of the late Prince Joao of Orleans-Braganza (d.2005), they were married on Apr.29, 1990 (civilly) & on May 11, 1990 (religiously) in Rio de Janeiro, as the 2nd marriage for each of them, @ Petropolis. He was the son of Prince Pedro de Alcantara of Orleans-Braganza, Prince of Grao Para & Princess Elisabeth of Orleans-Braganza, Countess Dobrzensky von Dobrzenicz. They resided in Paraty for much of their marriage. She was predeceased by her son from her 1st marriage, Eduardo “Diduzinho” (d.2019).
