Mar.27 Bentheim-Tecklenburg: HSH Prince Nicolaus Moritz Casimir of Bentheim-Tecklenburg passed away at the age of 95 years old, @ Schloss Rehda, Germany. He was the 2nd child of HSH Adolf Moritz Casimir Karl Adalbert Hugo Arthur, 5th Prince of Bentheim-Tecklenburg & HSH Princess Amelie of Schonburg-Waldenburd. He was born on Mar. 12, 1925, @ Rheda, Germany. He married Countess Franziska von Hoyos, Baroness Stichtenstein (1921-2009) on Sep. 15, 1951, @ Werenwag bei Hausen. The marriage was childless. He served in the German military & was taken prisoner by the Allies. After his release he studied @ the Dusseldorf Art Academy for 2 years, graduating in 1947. His 1st job was an an assistant designer for the State Opera in Munich. After a trip to Italy in 1949, he returned to Germany to attend the Cologne School of Art. He & his wife lived in Rome, Italy, for more than 30 years where he painted and worked as a graphic + trade fair designer. He is survived by his younger sister, Pss Gustava of Bentheim-Tecklenburg Ctss of Hothenthal, & Pr.Heinrich of Bentheim-Tecklenburg, and numerous nieces + nephews, including Moritz 7th Pr of Bentheim-Tecklenburg
