It’s in connection to a corruption case, concerning crimes committed between 2006-2013 in various forms of participation in the interest of obtaining real estate of special value in the Snagov Forest & Baneasa Royal Farm, the ownership of which was illegally claimed by him. The police arrived at his residence in Bucharest this evening but he was not there – according to his wife, Lia Lambrino, he is in Portugal.
